As most of you already know, I have a bit of an obsession with Gertrude Zachary Jewelry. I would venture to say that more than half of my pictures online showcase me draped in hues of turquoise and coral from the infamous Southwest jeweler. Like the late Gertrude Zachary herself, I have never believed in the 'less is more' concept when it comes to baubles. Like you, I have been driving by her monumental, beautifully shot billboards for as long as I can remember. The models featured were always glamorous and looked authentically New Mexican. As you can imagine, I was SO honored when I was asked to model.
It has been a dream of mine to work with Shelle Neese from Studio Seven Productions. You've seen her work in places like "Cowboys & Indians Magazine". It was inspiring to witness the artistry and professionalism of all those involved. I definitely had some fun too! Check out my behind-the-scenes snap.
